Robert DiCenso, R.Acu

Registered Acupuncturist

Robert completed a 3-year Acupuncture diploma program at Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine in Toronto. Following that he successfully completed the board exam with CTCMPAO (governing board of Ontario) in 2015.

After completing the Acupuncture board exam, Robert dedicated himself to studying a type of manual therapy called Dynamic Manual Therapy. DMI focuses on how the tissues in the body create pressure differentials in order to guide fluid and nutrients throughout the body. By helping to re-establish this system, the body is able to correct and heal itself.

Robert continues to study and utilizes both acupuncture and manual therapy in his clinical practice. His approach to treatment is to determine what is the root dynamic that is creating the dysfunction, and how does it relate to the rest of the body. With this in mind, techniques are used to help restore function.

Robert enjoys being active outdoors with activities like mountain biking and hiking. Robert believes in a lifestyle that supports health: One with adequate amounts of rest, plenty of nutritious food, meaningful relationships and a healthy sense of purpose.
